Superfos is committed to inventing and producing environmentally sustainable packaging solutions that help our customers reduce their carbon footprint. Superfos uses polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE) plastics only, which do not give off unwanted substances to contents and ensure a high level of hygiene. After usage, PP and PE can be reused, recycled or incinerated with energy recovery, or disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.
Light weight reduces footprint
Many of our solutions are lightweight and thanks to our ongoing research and development efforts we continue to make them even lighter. This lessens the carbon footprint of the packaging since it requires less fuel for transportation; you can load a truck with up to four times the amount of plastic containers compared to reference containers.
Recycled materials
Another of our priorities is to use recycled polypropylene. Thanks to our innovative processes we are able to inject recycled materials between layers of virgin material, also called co-injection. We also offer packaging fully made of recycled polypropylene.
Environmental stewardship
Our commitment to the environment and environmental stewardship is integrated in all our factories. We are successfully reducing our consumption of resources and energy and are increasing our recycling capabilities.
Calculate it!
To assist you in making the right sustainable decision we use a CO2-calculator. The calculator makes it possible to establish the carbon footprint of our packaging solutions.
