General definition of a cookie

A cookie, also known as an HTTP cookie, web cookie, or browser cookie, is used for an origin website to send information to a user's browser and for the browser to return the information to the origin site. The information can be used for authentication, identification of a user session, user's preferences, shopping cart contents, or anything else that can be accomplished through storing text data on the user's computer.

The cookie collected information is used for helping and understand its visitors and how they engage with the website. All information is anonymous, but tracks trends like the click stream of users.

How long cookies are kept 

Cookies are removed after a certain number of months (how many months may vary), but they are renewed after each visit.

Collection of personal data

Personal data is never disclosed to third parties unless you give your express consent. We never collect personal data unless you have given us this information when registering, purchasing or taking part in a survey, etc. Personal data we collect includes name, postcode, e-mail address, gender, age, interests, opinions and knowledge of various subjects.  

Personal data is used to carry out the service for which the data has been collected.  The data is also used to get more information about you and other users of the website.  These uses may, for example, include research and analyses aimed at improving our products, services and technologies.

Personal data is removed or made anonymous once the purpose for which it has been collected has been met. Personal data is stored for no more than 12 months after it has been used.

Insofar as any personal data relating to you is subject to processing, under the terms of the Danish Data Protection Act you have the right to know what this personal data is relating to you. If it turns out that any information or data on you that is being processed is incorrect or misleading, you have the right to insist that this information is corrected, deleted or blocked. You may at any time object to the information held about being processed. You can also at any time withdraw your consent. You can complain about the processing of any information and data relating to you. Complaints may be submitted to the Danish Data Protection Agency under the terms of § 58, paragraph 1 of the Data Protection Act.
